Busoga University’s campus, academic home to more than 200 graduate students, 2,200 undergraduates, and 100 faculty members, is located 35km along Jinja-Iganga/MbaleTororo highway and is situated in the Iganga Christian Missionary Society (CMS) Educational Village.

Busoga University offers a unique combination of resources in a community that provides unusual cultural and religious environment. The University offers a wide range of study opportunities at different levels of your career. These range from undergraduate, graduate as well as continuing career enhancement options. If regular study options dont apply to you, flexible study options may be more suitable.

These include weekend study programs mainly for full time workers aspiring to better their education status, and is both for short Certificate Courses as well as Diploma and Degree Courses, Evening Study programs designed to offer opportunities to mainly the working class and are offered at the Study Centres, Holiday Programs designed specifically for upgrading Teachers who come to Campus when Schools are on holidays although any interested person who meets the admission requirements can apply to be considered for admission.

In addition to opportunities for recreation afforded by the natural setting, graduate students use the University’s extensive athletic facilities free of charge. These include Basket ball, Net ball, Rugby grounds and tennis court in our new State-of-the-art sports complex

An excellent transportation network of bus, highway puts Busoga University within easy reach (an hour or less) of major urban centers: Iganga and Mbale to the East, Jinja and Kampala to the West. The International airport is located in Entebbe.
