3rd Busoga University Council Commissioned.

The Busoga University Chancellor, The Rt. Rev. Dr. Michael Kyomya, on Monday 8th April 2013 commissioned the third Busoga University Council at the University Campus in Iganga.  The swearing in ceremony was conducted by Prof. David Bakibinga, the Diocesan Chancellor.

Clarification on Busoga University Law programme

Reference is made to the general notice that appeared in the Daily Nation of Friday 30th November, 2012 by the Council of Legal Education of Kenya concerning the status of the Busoga University Law programme. Busoga University wishes to clarify that its law programme was on the 28th of June 2012 conditionally accredited by the Law Council of Uganda. This means that Busoga University law programme is recognized by both the Law Council of Uganda and the National Council for Higher Education.

Busoga University Vice Chancellor receives graduation fraud report.

The Busoga University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Christopher Bakwesegha on Thursday 1st November 2012 received the report into the 11th graduation fraud.  The report was handed over by the Secretary to the Internal Investigations Committee (IIC), Mr. Ibembe Daniel on behalf of the Committee Chairperson, Mr. Ngobi Balidawa Moses at the University campus in Iganga.

Busoga University Senior Staff Sent on Forced Leave

Busoga University on September 18th 2012 sent some of its senior staff on a one month forced leave following allegations of fraud at the recently concluded 11th Graduation ceremony, held on August 31st, 2012.
